It is June in Wisconsin, the time of year when the weather turns from mild and sunshiney to oppressively humid and stormy. For three or four months straight. As cool as thunderstorms can be, when the other ”t” word is mentioned, I tend to freak out.

Three day weekends are just the best, aren’t they? On Saturday I went to some rummage sales, had lunch and cocktails with my sister, rode the pedal bike (like a pedal boat only looks like a giant three-wheeled bike) across the lake to have a few more cocktails, went fishing without touching worms or fish, came home and went to bed. Yesterday I tried to recover from my cigarette hangover and the pain in the back of my legs from the pedal boat. Today I woke up and realized I still have one day left to my weekend.
